A Newberry Bride’s New Color Palette May 6, 2009

One of my latest and greatest clients is Courtney, a Newberry Library bride getting married in March of 2010. Tonight we sat down and sifted through my many wedding flower magazines and floral swatch books and settled on a wedding color palette of EGGPLANT, MAGENTA and CELERY GREEN. The flowers we will be using include regular size and mini Callas, Hydrangea, Cymbidium, Mokara and Dendrobium orchids, Bells of Ireland, Anemones, Peonies and Hypericum Berries. While Courtney is unsure of what color she will be wearing (white or ivory), she already knows she wants the girls in eggplant colored dresses. Her bridal bouquet will be bold, bright and full of color and texture and the bridesmaid bouquets will be colorful but with accents of white throughout so they pop off the dark dresses. The floral centerpieces will be like these featured below but with the flowers and colors featured above in them. It is going to look so stunning!!!
