A Regal Red & Ivory Wedding at Drury Lane May 10, 2009

Betsy and Jon just tied-the-knot today at Most Holy Redeemer in Evergreen Park and celebrated their reception at Drury Lane in Oakbrook. Betsy and Jon’s colors included deep red/burgundy and ivory with accents of champagne.

For the flowers we did mostly roses in burgundy, red and ivory with some accents of champagne and pink scattered about. Other flowers included burgundy snapdragons, white stock, white dendrobium orchids, and white freesia. Foliage also played a small, but still important role and included Pittosporum, Italian Pittosporum, Ruscus, Bear Grass, and Seeded Eucalyptus. We did 2 centerpiece styles for the reception, we put petals everywhere, the bouquets were monochromatic and fabulous and I can proudly report that Betsy loved everything and we exceeded her expectations!  Yay!

Here are some more photos of the stunning flowers…

All of the “Faboo” photos were taken by Amy Christian of AC Design and Photography and all of the 1-step above mediocre photos were taken by me…I am getting better, but am limited since I do not have a digital SLR (yet!)
